The Club worth joining into.
Peter Pateman a roisterous adventurer who has probably done every job you could think of, founded the Maserof Wine Club during the early 1970s high in the Sierra Bernia mountains in a 17th century farmhouse.
After recultivating and replanting vines together with his family and a dozen of helpers at the forgotten slopes of the Sierra Bernia Mountains, the idea to create a Wine Club was born. What began as a small comradeship of winelovers, became the famous and unique Maserof Wine Club with members all over the world.
Being a Member is special as you do not buy the wine, you own it. Members
buy there own planted vines which are harvested during the "vendimia"
- the grape harverst- mostly at the end of September. Every year each
member receives 10 bottles of Maserof wine from his own vines, which
can be picked up either at the Maserof, or stored for next year.![]()

grown ever since its existence. Although new vines are planted every
year in the highfarm at the Sierra Bernia Mountains, only a certain
amount of people can join the club as new members.
